The Tiger, situated in the centre of the Market Place is currently run by the partnership of Bill & Louise.
We bought the lease to the old 18 century coaching inn back in May 2005.
The pub, very popular with its regulars was in quite a dilapidated state and required a major refurbishment that had to be done tastefully enough so as to not ruin the basics. We feel that we have achieved this through Louise's great eye for detail.
We also cracked on and turned the old car park to the rear of the pub into a great beer garden with a large decked area and a small childrens play area, without taking away the car parking area. We also have a smoking area shelter for the colder weather times.

Monday - Thursday : 10.30am - 11.45pm
Friday and Saturday : 10.30am - Midnight
Sunday : 12 noon - 10.30pm
The Tiger Inn is to be listed in the 2009/2010 Camra Good Beer Guide and we have just been awarded the 2008 committed to Cask award for the town.
The Tiger inn has also won Runner-up East Yorkshire Town Pub and the Cask Marque Credation.
